Why did I create Clover?

My name is Ellena Andreolli, founder of Clover.
Clover was born from a mixture of personal experience, indignation, and a need to act.

Since 2021, I have seen more and more cases of drink spiking around me, stories that affected women as well as men, sometimes relatives, sometimes friends of friends.

The common thread? Growing anxiety, a feeling of powerlessness, and always the same question: "Why is there nothing simple, reliable and effective to protect oneself?"

Then one day, a friend confided in me that she had been drugged and assaulted. That day, it was a turning point.


I knew that I no longer wanted to be a spectator.

A vision: combining security, design and freedom

My goal is simple: to make prevention reliable, accessible and desirable, without sacrificing style or spontaneity.


Clover is aimed at a generation that wants to remain free , to live their evenings to the fullest, without compromising between pleasure and vigilance .

I am pursuing this project with conviction, because I am convinced that we can make a difference.


And that every protective measure, every innovation , every voice counts.

Clover is a concrete response to an international societal problem.

I created Clover for anyone who wants to keep going out, dancing, and feeling the vibe, WITHOUT FEAR.


Because we’re tired of having to cover our drinks with our hands, of settling for half-measures when it comes to safety. We live in a strange world where protecting your drink has become a necessity. But let’s be clear: feeling “just okay” on a night out is NOT ENOUGH! We want true freedom. To feel alive, fully, and safe.

We are tired of feeling crazy because we don’t have the proof to file a complaint, because we constantly second-guess ourselves, because it’s easier to deny the situation than to accept it, and to open our eyes to the malicious behaviors that surround us!

It is time to clearly provide solutions to detect, but above all to prove and trace assaults, so that everyone can have the evidence to speak out, when they feel ready.
